Community Services Coordinator - Washington County
Assist low-income families in securing benefits available to them with all agency operations in the county area. Must have the ability to advocate and mobilize community services.
Must have computer skills and the ability to learn new programs, able to follow complex written and oral instructions, keep appropriate client files, and reports. Confidentiality is a must! Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time and able to lift 50 lbs. Must have high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license and transportation. Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks required. CK CATS Driver
Central Kentucky Community Action Transportation Services is seeking a qualified individual to provide safe transportation services for clients utilizing the agency's transportation service. Individual will be required, but not limited to the following duties: Provide direct, personalized transportation service to enrolled participants, and assist, as necessary, participants with bundles and/or packages (not in excess of 15 lbs) to and from the vehicle, their residence and/or service destination in agency owned motor vehicle; Must establish and maintain effective relationships within the agency and the community; Must be able to work flexible hours as scheduling may vary daily; Report any problems and locale to the lead driver and/or dispatcher; Must be able to maintain vehicle cleanliness, inspections and logs daily.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent; must possess a high degree of proficiency in reading and writing. Must understand complete instructions for reports and ability to read maps and learn service area. Must possess a Kentucky driver’s license and have access to automobile. Ability to relate to target population. Good physical health. No disabilities that might impair vision, health and endanger passengers as evidenced by DOT Medical Examiners Certificate. Criminal records check required; freedom from illegal drug use as evidenced by DOT/FTA drug testing. Excellent benefits package available after three-month probationary period.
