CKCATS Code of Conduct for all Passengers (Applies to all vehicles)
Public Transit Riders - Pay the correct fare when boarding.
Respect drivers and other passengers at all times.
No profane or vulgar language on CKCATS' properties.
Do not verbally or physically abuse other passengers/driver, disruptive behavior is not acceptable on the vehicle. If the driver deems behavior harmful to other passengers, it may result in and including dismissal from the vehicle.
All Clients are to remain seated until the bus comes to a complete stop before disembarking.
Do not board the bus under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
All Passenger must be fully clothed; including shirts, shoes must be worn at all times.
Do not place anything on the floor that may roll or move unattended.
Properly Controlled 'service animals' accompanying disabled persons are the only animals permitted.
Be polite, leave the front seat available for senior citizens and disabled people.
Prohibited items include, but not limited to: Guns, Hazardous Materials, Explosives, Knives, and Dangerous Liquids.
No smoking, any tobacco product, drinking or eating in CKCATS' vehicles.
Seatbelts must be used at all times while riding in CKCATS' Vehicles.
Child restraint includes car seats and booster seats and other federally approved safety devices. Car seat must be provided by the parent or guardian. Child under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
CKCATS only allows up to 5 bags groceries that will fit around the individual where they are seated on the CKCATS' vehicle. Drivers will not be responsible for lifting bags over 10 pounds (i.e. dog/cat food, potting soil, mulch, 24 pack soft drinks or case water, etc.)
All inquiries concerning lost articles must be made as promptly as possible after the loss to CKCATS. Lost articles will be held up to 2 months.
Do not defecate, urinate or release other body fluids on vans.
CKCATS' vans are equipped with audio/video recording devices.
These rules are in place to ensure that all passengers will have a safe and pleasant trip while riding with CKCATS. Thank you for your cooperation.
